Elda is wonderful! Welcoming, authentic and charming. She was my server also. The beef enchiladas came with both green and red chile sauces and a beautiful medium rare steak that was spicy in its own right. DeliciousShe brought me a Sopaipilla as a free desert and I was too full to eat it then, so Elda packed it up for me with honey packets that I thoroughly enjoyed later on an airplane ✈️The place is cute, but simple and right on Highway 550. Convenient and right on time. I would return to Elda's and recommend anyone in the region of northern New Mexico or southern Colorado. I was in Durango and drove down for lunch before my flight

Since relocating to the area after being gone for 25 years the food here is everything I remember about hole in the wall Traditional Spanish Cuisine. Absolutely Delicious, combined with the friendly service and warm atmosphere makes for a completely satisfied experience. ?%

First timer, my wife and I had breakfast quesadilla with potatoes. Very pleasant service. All around good experience.
I admit I made a mistake and accidentally didnt choose my meat when ordering the $13.84 breakfast burrito that was my fault, but for me to pay that much for only potatoes and chorizo is crazy. Then the taco salad had about 1% ground beef and was over $10. I know times are tough but when it was all said and done I paid over $30 for lettuce, tomato, beans, potatoes, and cheese, with a tiny bit of ground beef and a tiny bit of chorizo non of which needs to be skimped on when yall are charging 4 star restaurant prices I expect a good amount of meat not the opposite. Idk if ill come back. I feel like I was taken advantage of. They could of asked me what meat I wanted before making it since they didn't start making it until I arrived and made me wait. Seems kinda shady no communication. Small portions. High prices not cool. I only ate half of my burrito and we threw the taco salad in the trash. Merry Christmas thanks alot.
