We came to get ice cream last night and got in line 30 minutes before closing. At 7:58, an employee came up and told us, “I know you guys have been in line for a long time, but we’re taking the customers in front of you as the last order.” If you’re going to cut the line off early, post your real hours. We were there well before closing and still got turned away after waiting. Not a good way to treat customers.

It's the varied and sometimes unusual flavors that set this place apart from other ice cream shops, and the kids that work the counter are hometown friendly! I love the moosecups, which is soft serve mixed with your choice of sorbet flavor, light and flavorful! Bring your pooch...they offer pup cups for free!

Visited 6/28/2024. Don’t waste your time! Tried to get ice cream 5 times this month and I’ve given up. An ice cream shop that doesn’t have ice cream. Repeatedly out of all types of ice cream. Out of toppings. Out of everything. Such a disappointment. Oh and they close at 8:00 pm in the summer on a Friday night. I’ve lived in Aztec for 30 years and it’s sad to see such an awesome place go downhill so fast. Don’t waste your time and money trying to patronize this business and support them. They won’t have anything anyways.

Have been here many times! Some of my best memories were made here.I don’t live in Aztec anymore but I take time to visit whenever I am in town. Much rather support this awesome little local ice cream shop over big chains such as Dairy Queen. Quality is always great. Loved the kitschy style and decor

My dog and I were so happy Vanilla Moose opened today for NY Eve. Pup remembered the puppachino (yum) and I had peppermint ice cream.
