This place was amazing until TA took over. Dog park is run down and so full of poo and no bags to do anything about it. Barely any staff. Really disappointed....

So my husband is a Truck Driver and has been stopping at this restaurant for a long time, Then TA bought out Russell’s and since then this restaurant has gone to a place I’ll never eat at again. Every time we have eaten here they have been out of several things on the menu, the staff is rude, and never once since the change have they gotten our order right, and when it’s wrong they acted pissed that we ask for it to be corrected, the food is not cheap either, so I could not decide what I wanted, I ask if the steak here was good she said she had never had it so she took my husbands order which was sent back because guess what she got it wrong and with my menu closed while handing her the menu I said I would like the sirloin steak medium rare, when it comes out it is a t-bone, I never order T-bone so we tell her she immediately gets nasty and states that’s the picture I was pointing to and would not make me a sirloin or match the price, I was handing her the menu with it closed when I ordered how was I pointing to the picture and at 29.99 I can’t afford that, nor is it my favorite steak. So we walked out and will never eat there again, the place used to be packed and now dead I wonder why.

Great spot to stretch your legs and get gas and snacks before hitting the Interstate again.

If you haven't stopped in here you are definitely missing out. The free museum in here is right up my alley. Classic cars, tons of memorabilia, easy access off the interstate.

Very interesting refueling. You can refuel, eat, visit a small but atmospheric museum, drink coffee, walk the dogs and much more. Parking for large trucks is big, and clean. The museum was very surprised, it can be called a local landmark xd

Parking: A very large parking lot for trucks

Tbh the waitresses have no sense of urgency. Flies running rampant, the food is mediocre and overpriced.

DO NOT BE TAKEN IN. This is a truckstop, a Route 66/ car museum, and a FORMERLY NICE DINER. If you need a truckstop or are interested in the museum, you're in luck. About the restaurant, Russell's Cafe or whatever it's called, that's NOT what it is anymore. They've intentionally left the original menu on Google Maps, but this is a T/A Travel Center restaurant now. The selections are sparse, not much of it is freshly prepared, the fryer grease was absolutely nasty, and nothing they serve justifies the price. When these places were open 24/7 the cost was tolerable, but now T/A simply has bad food which is too expensive. Specifically, I had fish and chips at this location. The server should have been embarrassed to put it on the table in front of me. Out of necessity, I've eaten at T/A Country Pride restaurants several times a month over the years. With very few exceptions, they should just close these places up and get it over with, definitely relics from another time.
