Everyone was friendly. The drive-thru line was slow. Maybe they need more training. The girl at the window took my money and gave me my drink. While I was sitting there waiting for my food, another girl came to the window and says "can I help you? " I said I was waiting for my food. Then she commented that the other girl forgot to give me my food before she went on break.

This is part of a gas station so getting to the drive thru is a bit funky. The food was crisp, hot, fresh, and delicious. None of the old fish oil smell that some Long John's have.

Just small details the quality of the ice cream is not the same every day the have good ice cream is white and creamy but Some days they will give you a nasty brown ice cream with a horrible texture

Maybe they need to recalibrate the fryer or adjust the time to cook. Considering Capt Ds is known for their fish, you would think they would take more pride in putting out a better tasting product.
Ljs/aw in Belen is the worst place. The staff is incompetent teenagers. They never change their fry oil. The fish is super oily and so are the hushpuppies. The only thing good is the coleslaw. I did not want their fish so I ordered a hamburger and onion rings. The bun was soggy and the rings tasted like fish. The drink fountain is left unattended. I wanted a root beer but there was none. The floor was sticky. I think they should close the place and just concentrate on the convenience store part. It is sad because Belen does not not have much choices.
