We are new to the area. I Googled breakfast restaurants that served waffles and Penny's Diner came up and looked interesting. Their waffle machine is broken so, no waffles!! I ordered the chicken strips and pancakes, my sister ordered the Hearty Breakfast with french toast. The pancakes are the size of the plate, huge. All of the servings were large. We really liked the coffee. We also ordered sandwiches to go the club and deli sandwiches with tater tots. Delish!!!

This wonderful small diner is a GEM in Belen! Even short staffed we had a wonderful experience, the chef and waitress were friendly and helpful. Will recommend this lovely place and be bringing our family here as many times as possible!

Place is disgusting. Floors look like they have never been mopped. Sat down for 15 min in an empty diner before the staff approached me. Thin layer of grease on everything inside.

Usually decent food but I did a call in order and picked it up. Should've checked it before I left..... Burnt to heck. They really dropped the ball this time. They could have saved themselves a poor review if they had just re-toasted the bun. I could've excused it if there had been a single customer in the diner at all. Mine was the only meal they had to make and it was terrible this time.
