We are new to the area. I Googled breakfast restaurants that served waffles and Penny's Diner came up and looked interesting. Their waffle machine is broken so, no waffles!! I ordered the chicken strips and pancakes, my sister ordered the Hearty Breakfast with french toast. The pancakes are the size of the plate, huge. All of the servings were large. We really liked the coffee. We also ordered sandwiches to go the club and deli sandwiches with tater tots. Delish!!!
This wonderful small diner is a GEM in Belen! Even short staffed we had a wonderful experience, the chef and waitress were friendly and helpful. Will recommend this lovely place and be bringing our family here as many times as possible!
Penny's was a great experience! We wanted a place that wasn't fast food and it was late. The guy running the diner on his own when we came in was so friendly and made our food quickly! I highly recommend this place!
