Second time eating here and soooo good!!! Not a lot of restaurants can satisfy my mexican rice need but this place gets it right!!!!! A++++++ and if you haven’t tried the coconut cake, you are missing out!!!! Definitely a hidden gem with excellent prices and amazing food ♥️
We were hungry and stopped here as it was one of the few places open--the four of us (having had enough NM cuisine to last for a while) ordered steaks and salads. We were very pleased--steaks were cooked to order, well seasoned, and the salads were fresh; the side of vegetables served with the steak were very tasty. Service was prompt and friendly enough. There is only street parking available, but it didn't present a problem. We would return if we were ever in Belén again.
Our second visit over a couple of months and my steak was way overcooked both times. 1st was a filet, ordered medium and came out very well done, not a bit of pink. That trip the fried zucchini and baked potatoes were great. 2nd vist about 10 days ago, I ordered the new york strip, again medium. It was served with the side that was up only had 3 light grill marks. I wondered what it was going to be like. I flipped it over and 6 dark and charred grill marks. Way over done...
