Excellent bakery in a quaint mountain town. Tons of options of their pastries, pies and lattes. Glad we stopped by! Even had nut free option like huge Rice Krispie treats. Very friendly and helpful gentleman that served us and made a delicious fresh ground peppermint mocha latte. Yum!! And best part, they are dog friendly. Glad we took this detour through Cloudcroft NM.
Only ones here on a weekday morning. Lady working the till was friendly. Coffee was good. Pastries were decent. She forgot to reheat them, however, which was a bit odd given the lack of anything to do at the time (and she asked us if we wanted them reheated, to which we said yes). Plus, I'm not exactly interested in reheated pastries so the fact that is so openly advertised is a bit puzzling. Despite that, the bear claw and apple strudel were solid (albeit cold). I imagine...
Known for its fruit pies Burro Street Bakery is a great spot for their other snacks as well. We got the beignets and they were amazing but the jam inside was the cherry on top! Coffee was fine though you can get better just down the street at Black Bear Coffee but the baked goods can’t be beat! Easy five stars!
