Dave’s is a clean restaurant with standard, predictable food offerings. We visited on a cold evening and found the restaurant to be cold as well. The dining room was harshly lit and a bit “echo-ee.” If you’re hungry and want simple American fare, you can get it here.

We are german tourists on our New Mexico roadtrip and decided to eat at Dave's Café. In fact we met no Dave but two women. The younger one was very friendly but she did not serve the ordered veggie burger but a meat/cheeseburger. When my wife complained about the wrong burger suddenly another (older) woman arrived from the kitchen and accused my wife that her order was wrong although she did not witness the order process. Strange. We felt quite uncomfortable for a while. But in fact my wife received a delicious veggie burger and I enjoyed my tacos very much. Good food and very good prices!

Ordered the burrito deluxe. It was undercooked, unseasoned ground beef in a tortilla covered in nasty chili and canned nacho cheese. My wife’s burger was also undercooked. My kids quesadilla was boring chicken in a tortilla with cheese that was absolutely just microwaved. Somehow paid 48 dollars for this and waited way too long for the lack of quality, while all of the staff was sitting behind the counter doing nothing and not tending to customers at all. Not going here again.

I went in Saturday night. There were only two servers taking orders and helping people… they were completely overwhelmed and in the weeds… The kitchen was in the weeds too! ( meaning way too busy to keep up). I ordered a burger to go. It was dry, way way overcooked, in fact it was burned and no flavor at all. It was disgusting and not edible. I gave it to my dog. The french fries were soggy - gross! . The meal was the worst! Do not waste your money at this place. They will burn your food and sell it to you without even checking to make sure your order is even correct or cooked right; Hands-down, the worst hamburger ever; McDonald’s serves a better burger. …. the servers were friendly, but were completely overwhelmed and there was no manager in sight. This place is not managed well at all. No servers should be left alone on the floor to manage a busy Saturday night… Do not waste your money in this place. The burgers are the worst. if you read down on the reviews, lots of other people are saying the same thing that the burger was the worst and the fries were so soggy. I encouraged you to read through the reviews because obviously the manager doesn’t care and the owners don’t care about the type of service and food they are serving, what a shame

Sad to see some negative reviews here. I order out on occasion from Dave’s and the food is always delicious! I loooove their crispy chicken salad and the BBQ burger. The staff is ALWAYS kind!
Working in retail, I personally give back the same energy that customers give me. If you go in rude, demanding, and disrespectful to the staff and don’t want to follow their company policies then you’re likely to be met with some pushback. Not saying the staff at Dave’s does that, but I know plenty of customers that like to twist the narrative when they were the ones causing problems in the first place.
My only critique is their fries. They make shoestring/match stick style fries and it’s just not my personal favorite, but it’s nothing some of their delicious ranch can’t fix!

Awful customer service , staff really rude and the manger was the worst. We were a party of 4 and they charged me an 18% gratuity even though it’s written on their menu that’s for they only charge the gratuity for a Party of 6 or more . I spoke to the manger , she refused to refund it to me and told me just do not come back . I asked her to speak to the owner and she refused .

Not quite as good as the last time we were here a couple years ago. The French Dip was ok, onions outnumbered the beef. The Sicilian Southwest Sub was excellent even if it came with the onions that we requested be withheld. Liquor license issues nixed any wine.
