We came here for a drink after dinner. Richard was a hospitable bartender and the lady at the front desk gave a lot of really cool factoids of the hotel’s history! We should return very soon.
The atmosphere made it as well as our waiter, Ryan. The food was good, not 5 star. The pasta had a bitter aftertaste, the shrimp and lobster salad was good, not what I would call a salad, and the pork chop was fine, a bit over cooked. We checked in 10 minutes prior to our reservation, 10 minutes after our reserved time, I checked and was told they didn't know we were here. Some kinks to work out, but a nice evening overall.
Absolutely love coming to the lodge for a quiet evening. Piano player is top notch, service was phenomenal, Tona was our server and she always has a kind smile and gracious attitude when we come in. What Chef Richard has done with the food can’t be overstated. Definitely come in and check out the restaurant.
