Overall, Blackwater Coffee is good and the drinks are yummy. The shop is clean, and the staff is generally friendly, which makes it a pleasant place to stop in the morning. That said, it’s a little on the pricier side. A pizza bagel and a large coffee came out to over $30 with tax, which feels steep for a regular morning coffee run. But military discount helped out a little.

One thing that stands out was inconsistency in customer service. Some staff members were happy to recreate drinks from the previous menu or suggest alternatives, which was appreciated. Others simply responded with “we don’t have that” without offering any substitutes, which felt a bit dismissive.

Overall, a solid spot with good quality, but the price point and uneven service make it more of an occasional treat for me than a daily stop.

I ordered an Americano, but it tasted more like hot water than actual coffee. It was extremely weak and not what I expect when ordering an Americano. I also ordered a turkey bagel, and the bagel itself was very hard. I ended up throwing half of it away because it wasn’t enjoyable to eat.

On top of that, the coffee cup had a hole in the bottom and leaked coffee all over my car, which was incredibly frustrating. The shop really needs to invest in better-quality cups.

Lastly, the location is not ideal. I don’t want to sit and eat at a coffee shop that’s right next to a pharmacy with sick people constantly coming in and out to pick up medications. Overall, this experience was disappointing and needs improvement in multiple areas.

Starbucks is definitely a better option 😌

The food wasn’t great. The bagel got hard. I couldn’t eat it. Everything is overpriced. They don’t have enough bagel options, not even French toast bagel and that’s a classic. This place is not worth my time or money. And don’t get me started about the tips.

I understand that most of the reviews are positive, and that’s great. My experience, however, was genuinely not good, and my review reflects that specific visit. Looking at my past reviews doesn’t change what I was served that day. Reviews aren’t meant to please everyone—they’re meant to be honest feedback. I hope future customers continue to have the experience you’re aiming for.

Ordered a matcha latte with almond milk, london fog with oatmilk and lavender syrup, and had their blueberry maple oatmeal. All of it was delicious! Open and clean vibe in the store. I stayed for a few hours to get work done on the computer so that's why I had 2 drinks to myself. Free wifi and a chill place with plenty of tables and plugs. Attached to a pharmacy/medical building which is a little random but it is its own coffee place. Ill definitely be back when Im in town again.

The vibe is super cute. It's a little weird they don't open till 8:00. I usually have to leave work and circle back around. The breakfast avocado toast is not something I will order again. The counter staff are really nice but they've just started using a computer to take orders and I'm afraid it does affect that personal coffee shop experience.

I love coming here for food and drinks. It’s also a chill place to work on hobbies or activities in a great environment.

Drink was amazing! The apple chai fall drink was delicious! The food was hard as a rock and left a lot to be desired. I will return solely for their drink! Staff seemed nice though.

This little coffee shop is attached to my favorite pharmacy Roden Smith so you can grab a great cup of Joe and take a load off while you wait for your script to be filled!! The atmosphere is relaxing and for me much better than Starbucks! They have tables inside and out and it is just nice to put my head phones on (razor kit cat glow ears) and listen to a book from audible or Bob my head to a tune and just relax . So stop by and say hi this Italian Girl loves their Joe!
