Good old fashioned down home eats with friendly service... The most yummy half pound green chile cheeseburger with a side of onion rings will keep you filled up and satisfied for the rest of the day! This has become our regular stop on our way to and from Texas... Well worth the wait...

Excellent food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere! I ordered two chicken enchiladas, everything made in house. The salsa was perfect spicy and the chips were even seasoned. I will be back!

My buddy and I were heading back from a Colorado ski trip on Monday evening and called ahead to place an order. We told the waitress on the phone that we would be there in 25 minutes. She said she would hold the order a little so that it would hopefully be timed right to pick up a hot meal. We got there and waited just a couple minutes before it was ready. She nailed it! Hot meal out the door. The food was delicious, and everything tasted like it was made with love. You can't get that just anywhere.
Cooks is a winner. We'll definitely return next time we pass through town.

Butter beans were the best I've ever had, touch of sweetness with ham. Vegetable soup was better than mommas! Real mashed potatoes! Chicken fried steak was beautifully cooked & tender. Great homestyle cooking & just what I needed after a tough day. Young waitress didn't check on me until I was done tho.
