I love this Daylight Donuts so much! Get there early to get first dibs because they go fast! They’re such a staple in the Clovis community! The staff there is also so amazing! So kind!!! If you have time, go in the dine in area! It’s a good place to gather with friends & have breakfast! Make sure to check out their Facebook for all the special things they have going on! They are no longer located on Prince Street they are on 21st Street. I was there early on a Saturday morning, it was very, very, very busy and they were low on selection. I am glad to see them that busy. I was really wanting a apple fritter but was out of luck this day. So I chose a glazed donut, it did not disappoint! Plenty of staff on hand, did not have to wait, plenty of seating. There was a child there enjoying his birthday with family and friends. Overall it's a great atmosphere.

Went this morning with my babygirl. Decided to go inside instead of waiting behind the car in the drive thru window. It was raining so we quickly went in, all three employees greeted me and assured they would be with me shortly. I waited patiently as I too have been working service industry for over 12 years. The girl working the frond counter where I was finished was she was doing and instead of helping the next person in line (my baby and I) she went to answer the phone that just started ringing, that also any of the other two employees could have also answered. This simply was a turn off for me, I will not be retuning to give my service nor will I recommend to anyone.

Even though they were BUSY, and full of orders/easter donut specials, they managed to fulfill my order on time. We are so greatful!! Best donuts in town!
I am a firm believer that Daylight has the best donuts and best service in town. They are the most incredible donuts we have ever had. We love them! However, I can’t say the same about the Kolaches. We have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because their donuts are just so good that the kolaches should be too. Unfortunately, they have been consistently over cooked, hard, and dry. This time, they were completely burnt, hard, and inedible. I honestly think there is room for improvement. They could be really good. Just some constructive criticism that I hope gets implemented in the future. We are still daylight fans :)

Uhh is this what the apple fritters are supposed to look like? I have never seen or tasted a worse apple fritter in my life. Like eating a brick. Yikes. Edit to add response to owner: I most certainly did not have any children with me nor did I go inside. What a hilarious lie to cover yourselves. Amazing 🤣
