This is hands down the best pizza ever! Every single time I buy pizza here it is delicious and the customer service is outstanding!

I love that they do not mess around with their pizzas! It's one of the best places I can go to get a pizza without cheese with some serious toppings on it. I enjoy their subs and their fruit cups do not disappoint. 💗

Love their pizza and green chilies ranch dressing. Salads are great too.

Summary: a pizza chain that is worth ordering from, but with a location that consistently underperforms.

I've been ordering from this location since I moved to town a few years ago. I am usually pretty generous with reviews, and they would have gotten a solid 5-stars back then, but their consistency has gone way down hill.

The food is good when properly cooked. Easily the best pizzas in town (except maybe Red Stone), which isn't a high bar, but still legitimately good. They also have very tasty sandwiches and condiments (their green chili ranch is delicious). The only issue I have with some of their pizzas is that they are very greasy (looking at you Carnivore and Special) and do not travel well... if you get take out or delivery, there is a good chance that they are a soggy mess by the time you start eating. This issue is compounded by the fact that the they (staff? equipment?) are inconsistent with cooking the pizzas properly. A greasy pizza that is also undercooked is gross. I would estimate that 30-40% of the pizzas I get from them are either under or over cooked.

The most serious issue I have with this location is the staff. Even when the place is dead, it has been over a year and a half since I have received a realistic time estimate. They normally say my order will be ready in 20-30 minutes (40 if they are actually busy) and I always need to wait an addition 10-30 minutes. I started showing up 10 minutes after they tell me to be there, and I still need to wait 10-20 minutes.

Overall, I keep going back because they're one of the only good pizzas in town. I don't go nearly as often as I used to because I don't like gambling $20-50 on whether I'm going to have a decent meal.

This next part is mostly for whoever reads reviews at Dion's...

Today, I called in my order for pickup and was told 20 minutes and showed up after 30 based on food never being ready when I'm told it will be. I paid for my pizza and the employee working the register went to check on its status. The same employee came back a couple of minutes later and told me it would be out in another minute. No biggie. A few minutes later I watch them pull out the pizza and let it sit for over 10 minutes getting cold. It wasn't dead at the restaurant, but there were maybe three other groups in the restaurant at the time, most of the staff were clearly not that busy. This is a common experience for me at your restaurant, but at least today the employee was more attentive than normal.

There are frequently employees just standing around while people are waiting on food. It *appears* that most of the staff are only trained or directed to focus on one specific task, like making sandwiches or preparing pizzas. It would help your efficiency to have all the employees trained to cut and package a pizza or look up from their station when they aren't busy to cover for other positions that are falling behind.

I won't blame the workers directly, because most of them seem friendly and eager to do a good job. Many of them are young and probably working their first job and just need a little development. Whether it's poor training, retention of experience, or staffing, I blame the management. It doesn't matter which employees are working, I have consistently encountered the same issues over the past year.

At one point, y'all deserved your 4.5 stars, but not anymore.

Good service anytime I visit. The staff get to you quickly for your order and to give updates. Never a real wait time, even when it's busy. The decor is basic and is usually half full so its easy enough to get a table if you want to eat in. Never had a wrong order and have always been satisfied.

Excellent pizza and friendly staff.

If you’re not a New Mexico native, let me help you out: you go to Dion’s. Period.
This isn’t “decent” pizza—this is top 2 in the entire state.
And don’t even think about skipping the Green Chile Ranch. It’s not a condiment, it’s a lifestyle. Dip your pizza in it, dip your fingers in it, dip your ex’s tears in it—I don’t care, just get it!
Oh, and the sweet tea? It’s chill. Not diabetic-level sweet, just right.
Dion’s isn’t a maybe. It’s a must. Act like you know.

They always mix-up with our order. The sandwiches are good though.

I had literally received 0 assistance at the counter for 25 minutes while picking up an order. It took an employee walking out to deliver a drive through order which by then finally said they were going to check up on the order. Once I picked up the two pizza’s they were literally COLD in my hands. I’ve PICKED up pizzas before which the boxes were HOT and burning my hands. This is not my first negative experiene where I’d try to pick up an order and have been treated with the waiting game and disrespect.

I've only had delivery.
The ranch dressing is amazing and I'll definitely stock up before we go back to Missouri.

Best Veg sub sandwich I have had in a long time. But they need to clean tables there where quite a few dirty.

This is the first time I have eaten here and found the pizza crust doughy it was not cooked all the way. Part of the pizza was cold also. The chef salad was fine. The employees were loud and seem to care more about talking to each other than working. Will not be back. Today's date is Nov 4th 2024. Time about 6:30 pm.
