As a niece to one of the greatest soul food joints in DFW.. this place was EVERYTHING I needed on a really hard day!!! Hands down the best Po’ Boy you can find in NM!! I will stop here every chance I get!! It smells so good in the building and the old school come on in and eat vibe is EVERYTHING I needed today! Made me feel so close to my childhood comfort food, it like a flash back for my taste buds!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SOUL FOOD JOINT!! It will not disappoint!

Food was beyond amazing, best fried chicken I've ever had. The sausage and rib plates were just as great too! Candied yams, fried okra, potato salad, greens, and black eyed peas were super good sides. The German chocolate and butter pecan cake are both delicious. Can't wait to try some crab legs from here! He's doing you proud mama Jean!!

I received doordash from them on my birthday and I am so disappointed. My peach cobbler is so burnt it's not edible. The sausage is covered in barbecue sauce and the quality was not great. I am so sad because I'm from the south and love good soul food but it just wasn't good.
