On three separate occasions, I have ordered food on the Popeyes app, paid for it, driven to the Clovis store, and been told by the staff at that location that they are “out of chicken” and cannot fulfill my order, and also cannot provide me a refund because I ordered on the app. The process for acquiring a refund involves talking in circles to a chatbot and PRAYING a human sees the interaction at some point and fulfills your request. It’s unacceptable. Don’t patronize this store.

Horrible service went trough drive true lady there so rude if she is manager now imagine the employees first off did not hear her on the speaker I go on the window since I had not gotten a response for a few minutes and asked if the speaker wasn’t working if I had to place the order on the window didn’t even let me finish speaking when she rudely interrupted by saying she said welcome to popeyes and rudely told me to go back all the way around to place the order on the speaker mind you no cars what so ever….

This store makes you wait for your food, often. They also often mess up orders. I worked in fast food for a long time and I can be understanding...but as often as my orders are wrong - I don't even want to deal with this restaurant anymore. My husband likes the spicy Swiss and bacon Chicken sandwich and that's the one that's always wrong. When the orders are right the food is good. The employees are always very kind and polite. They just can't seem to get the flow and orders right.

I was very hesitant to come to this location after reading the reviews, but I decided to press my luck and give it a try. The outside environment is very clean. The customer service was very good. The taste and quality of food was great, although as others have stated, the chicken is on the small side. I had a three piece meal. I can't say I'll be a routine customer, but overall it was good. On a side note, it's pretty easy to discern that the response to these reviews are generated by an A.I. bot.

Black people have the stereotype of being rude and disrespectful but these workers do prove the stereotype to be true. I asked for hot sauce and utensils and this lady said that she put all of that and shut the window on me. I didn’t get to ask for ketchup or napkins because she shut the window on me. So rude! Who does she think she is. Terrible terrible service! If they hate their job, then it’s time for them to change careers, well jobs because working at a Popeyes isn’t a career.

Not trying to discredit any previous reviews but I've gone several times now and haven't had a single issue. I've done big orders, I've gone outside of normal meal times, etc. but each time the interactions have been kind and my food has been fresh. I also haven't had any issues with my orders but I also make sure to check my bag before I leave any drive thru. The most that's happened is missing sauces but they're quick to fix. Don't be scared off by reviews like I was for the longest!

I went through the drive thru. I sat for 10 minutes waiting for someone to come on the speaker and take my order. No one answered. The same thing happened 3 weeks ago. I drove to the window and told them that I wanted to place an order. The two young ladies said that I needed to come in to place an order or go back through the drive thru. By then I had 4 cars behind me. They refused to take my order. I went to a different restaurant. I won’t be back to Popeyes even though I love the chicken there.
