Went to the Salty Mermaid today (inside the bingo hall /Red Arrow) They have a full end restaurant and a Pub Style Bar. It's quiet, quaint and great atmosphere. We don't go out much but we love stopping in and having a drink and some dang good food. I had a Green Chile Cheese burger with bacon and steak fries. The lady had the Cajun Jambalaya bowl (HUGE) and was a very hearty at that. The staff was and is very friendly. Cooper and Tommy are always killing it for the patrons inside the Pub and the restaurant staff is always welcoming and friendly. Thank you guys for the awesome service and great conversation.
so recently I went to salty mermaid and I seen that Isaac Saiz worked there with some younger girls and boys and for those who do not know Isaac got fired from the schools and MULTIPLE places for harassing not only younger people but older too I do not think it is okay to be working around younger people I made a facebook just to post about this because the things he tells ANYONE is DISGUSTING he flirts with all the customers and not only that I do not think it is professional of him he has a bad reputation and this needs to be stopped , one of my family members used to work with him at Juanitos and quit because of the stuff he used to say to all the younger girls, it just disgusted me to see his face infront of the younger children working with him
I truly enjoyed the food there. We had a huge party and they accommodated us well. The 5 toddlers were toddlers and the ladies were not bothered in the least. I CAN’T WAIT to eat there again. Thanks for a memorable meal!

After much anticipation about this newish place, I was sadly disappointed. The lunch selection was limited and the food and service were indifferent. Smiles and refills don't replace accuracy and timely delivery. The Caesar dressing tasted like creamy Italian and the salad was finally served after repeated reminders and the chicken on the pasta was dried out and had a bitter taste and some cool spots from not being reheated thoroughly. On the bright side, I really enjoyed the calamari. However, I won't be back; better choices abound.

Full on honest review
I love a good boil do I was very excited to try this new place
It is hard to find
It is inside of the fun center /arcade building Maybe signage on the door ?
It is decorated fun and it looks nice
We got seated quickly as they were not very busy (kinda worried me on a Friday night). The staff was pretty good and got our order pretty quick
When our food came (the shrimp boil add sausage ) it looked good
The potatoes and corn were slightly (in my opinion) over cooked. I asked for spicy and the spice was in a cup for me to add not what I normally would expect
The shrimp were smaller than I am accustomed to seeing in a boil but they were cooked right and there was plenty of them. Same for the sausage.
All in all it was a pretty good experience

Arrived right before closing and they were so kind, and still sat us..we had drove all day. food was quick and great! loved the crab legs!!!! I wish we would of got there earlier to let the kids play in the arcade. overall a really cool place woth great customer service.
Great Staff. Minus the management. Manager didnt give a darn the food was messed up. Ordered a burger, the bun was soaked in grease. Side baked potato served cold, extra sausage served frozen, crab leg special served cold. The boil was good! Do you only warm up the boils? Everything else is uncooked and cold? The cheese on the baked potato didn't even attempt to melt.

What I expected/what the business posted VERSE what I got. I took THE THREE incredibly SMALL mussels off the pasta to really convey what I received here lol. This was a $20 pasta by the way on the right.
Is pasta really that hard to make? It was awful pasta, was an Alfredo instead of a butter sauce. Smelled of cumin/curry, no garlic, no tomato's, mussels were one third the size of what is presented.
Pasta on paper? in a Styrofoam container? This was actually insane. I paid TWENTY, TWENTY dollars for that on the right to be delivered to me. $16 in their restaurant.
Whoever cooked this must have been hired off the street with minimal to ZERO experience in a kitchen.
