This is my FAVORITE spot to eat in Clovis AND anywhere for Hibachi. Lived in Clovis for 6 years. We went to the popular Benihana in San Diego, and it was crap. Shoguns is delicious!
The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it is on point, other times the meat is tough and dry, The wait staff is always different every time we go, Yesterday we had to ask 3 different staff for boxes, drinks, etc.
The rolls we had were delicious, beautifully plated with just the right amount of Wasabi on the dish.It was a busy Friday night but the small kids pond with water features was a nice tough and my table played guess that song from the instrumental music they played. Left stuffed and happy.Restrooms are small and at the front of the restaurant and you may need to wade through waiting guests to get to them.
