The Best Meal I have had since I moved to Clovis and that includes Lubbock meals. I had the Beef Cheek, it was amazing! The beef was tender and a juicy, the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, and the free beans tasted fresh. The service was quick professional and friendly. The Atmosphere was really cool as the oldest building in Clovis it really has character. It was clean and spacious. It also felt intimate if you are looking for a romantic evening.

Ate here this past Friday. Ordered a $45 Ribeye. Asked for medium-rare & what I got was a half-inch thick closer to well-done. I doubt it was cooked fresh & it was an awful cut of beef. I cook a better steak at home for far less $, & I also won’t be bombarded by flies while I’m trying to eat it.
I’ve had other meals here before that were quite good. Do not order steak from this restaurant. Not worth the price at all.

Very disappointed in the management and chef. My husband, two kids, and I come here once a month on business from Amarillo. My husband ordered the burger, but ordered it without American cheese. He asked the server if he could have feta on it instead. She said sure we have blue cheese dressing and feta crumbles. About five minutes later, the server comes back to tell us the “chef is not willing to put the feta cheese actually on the burger, but it will be on the side”. My husband said ok no problem. Another 5 minutes later, the server comes back and says, “the chef says the feta will have pesto in it, is that ok”? My husband said sure that’s fine. Another 5 minutes later, the male manager comes to us and says “we actually don’t have feta cheese here, we have mozzarella and that’s in our caprese salad”. My husband said, look just nevermind. No cheese. I asked after our meal for a menu- they have goat cheese as an option and didn’t offer it as a substitute. At the end of our meal, the server said they could offer us a free dessert of anything we wanted and said “the chef is just being rude because we do have feta cheese here. I don’t know what’s going on”.
Our server was kind and great. There is a huge issue here at hand though. Someone is lying and someone is not willing to replace our cheese. It’s simple!! Makes no sense to me with my own experience of 10 years in the service industry. We will never be back after the way the chef and manager acted. Not customer service at all.
I’d be willing to bet if we bought the surf and turf for two tonight, they would have given us the feta, but because it was a $16 burger, the chef was being petty and lazy. That’s not servitude.
In the future, we will skip The Rails and go elsewhere.

The food here is amazing. The staff and management were very pleasant and welcoming. I would highly recommend it. The Chili Crusted sirloin was amazing.
We had a fabulous early dinner on a Saturday. We got the Tomahawk special for 2. Steak was perfect medium rare with a thick sear crust to die for. Sides were excellent. Our apps were also amazing. Plates were brought when we were ready and we were never rushed. Loved it.

Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable, however the food was hit and miss for the amount of money spent. A burnt and overcooked steak as well as burnt shrimp in the Fettuccine Alfredo really wasn’t worth the price. The highlight of our dinner date was the dessert and it was delicious!
