The waitress was friendly and the food was good. We had enough to take with us as well. It is in a small, middle of nowhere town,but the atmosphere was quaint. Mexican and cowboy photos are on the wall and it is just what you expect from an individual owned and operated restaurant.
Driving from Santa Fe to Ruidoso, stopped at this cafe for lunch. Best taco salad ever. They had chicken tacos on special and she used the chicken for my salad. Chicken was absolutely delicious, taco shell homemade, light and crisp. Homemade beans, creamy and delicious! Worth the stop!
Let me just say.. it’s a MEXICAN RESTAURANT.. stick with the traditional stuff!!!! I called myself getting a chicken fried steak meal on time and that’ll be the last!!! The Mexican food is pretty good!!
