The restaurant has always been quite good. Now, with Jonathan Pero as executive chef, every meal we have eaten there has been interesting and outstanding. The introduction of Small Plates 4 course menus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, different week, is a great innovation for those of us liking a bit less food.
We were warmly greeted and the ambiance was lively. Our Starters and Salads were all delicious; however the Main courses for all three of us were disappointing! The tri-tip steak was very chewy and not really a prime piece of meat. The stuffed jalapeno was pretty to look at but not outstanding. The Tagliatelle was very bland...something I could easily have made at home. And sadly the dessert of the Peach Pavlova was overly sweet. It should have been delicately crispy with pillowy...
The Brioche Tart was a very interesting and tasty starter. I went for the green chile spaghetti and meatballs for my entree. Wow, what a great combination. Loved it. The lemoncello martini was very nice.
