My favorite bar in New Mexico. Simple menu with great Mexican food that incorporates hatch chiles whenever possible. Definitely try a sopaipilla or five. And a very knowledgeable proprietor behind the bar who can guide any customers interested in the more rare distilled spirits and delicious libations.
We sat on the patio.
It was a beautiful day, the service was fantastic! I had the green chile cheese burger with no bun. It was a tasty piece of meat. I enjoyed the chips and salsa.
The owner came out and showed us her jewelry collection that she makes and told us about the cool glass piano she played on americas got talent.

It was our first time there. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We will continue our trips across town to enjoy the food and atmosphere here at Perea’s restaurant in Corrals, NM.
