Servings are Huge, prices are Fair, everything tastes Great. Menudo was spicy but not too hot, Combo Plate was awesome. Everything served on regular plates and silverware not styro and plastic...i really appreciate that.!!! Can't wait to go back again.. glad to see it open for the summer...

Food is usually pretty good, but they are open inconsistently. You drive out to the lake only to find them closed.
I was in town visiting a friend and came here for brunch. The huevos rancheros were amazing. I got both red and green chili. The green was great with a nice zing.

I can’t say enough positive things about the Lakeside Cafe. Great people. Great food. Great prices all with a fantastic view of the lake! Worth the stop if you are anywhere near Dexter!

We tried their enchiladas. They were outstanding! They taste like homemade! This a great little place to dine beside a lake! Where else can you do that in SENM. Y’all seriously should try this place.
