Cool little restaurant. The food was very good and the service was perfect. A great place for breakfast or lunch!
First, have tried to go there a few times when it says they should be open but they actually aren't. Secondly, there are signs on the windows saying "We have the right to refuse service so don't get froggy" and something about if you're going to complain don't bother coming in for a home cooked meal. That's really the tone that you're going for? Before I even have a chance to eat any of your food you're starting off combative? Not a great way to be viewed right off the bat.
This has to be the nastiest place we’ve ever stopped for breakfast on our many trips to Albuquerque. We unfortunately stopped by there last week. Big mistake. I couldn’t eat a bite after pulling a long hair out of my eggs. The food is just gross. The “help” is slow and rude. The place itself is a filthy dump. I usually don’t bother with reviews, but I feel like I should warn others. The little bit I did eat made me sick about 2 hours later. They should rename it Botulism Dump.
Great food, excellent service, decent prices. My new favorite is the Monte Cristo with bacon jam. The bacon jam itself is epic! The cook and staff are very open to feed back and work hard to satisfy their customers appetites.
Great food friendly staff who are trying their best. Come on people, get back to work!! Those who are carrying the load cant do it forever! I love this little place and want to see it succeed. Free fathers day breakfast for dads was awesome!!
We drove from Albuquerque to try out this cool named place and it was worth the beautiful drive!! Got to meet Brittany, bacon jam tasted the bomb, food was good! We will definitely come back! Try it out!!
First time here at the Bacon Jam! Excellent service and great breakfast omlet! Owner was kind and accommodating! I would recommend Bacon Jam to anyone looking for a hardy breakfast at a really good price!
Today was our first visit and, sadly, our last. The staff was friendly, but the restaurant was dirty. Our table and seats were a mess, and the floor was sticky. The condiment containers on the table were dirty. I asked for another knife as the first one was gross. The coffee was luke-warm to cold. My husband liked the large biscuits and gravy (with eggs, potatoes, and 3 meats). I had the Huevos Rancheros. It was warm, not hot. The flavor was good, but it was served with baked beans (?). A little too sweet for me. I noticed someone else mentioned in their review that it was not clean, which tells me today was not just an off day.
I almost never give restaurants bad reviews. I’ve worked at restaurants. I know what they go through to serve their customers. But my recent experience at Bacon Jam was so complete awful, if I can save anyone from having the same experience, I feel I have to try.The place was dirty. Dead bugs. The staff not only wore no masks, but told us to take ours off when we entered. The place that prides itself on biscuits and gravy serves tough, reheated canned biscuits and watery gravy. They were out of coffee. Had no hot tea. The scrambled eggs were brown. The fries were limp. The iced tea was old. They allowed dogs (not service dogs) in the indoor restaurant. The staff shouted back and forth to one another, got both our orders wrong. The country fried steak sandwich was okay, but we had to ask for the onion which the menu said was included. And our thoroughly lousy food still cost us $32!Don’t go to this place. Wait for a table at the East Mtn Grill, or even Denny’s.
friendly staff and man that bacon jam burger is the best and the berries and cream pancakes are yummy

The food is great. But, I've tried for months to call in orders and there's no working phone number. I'm not going to go in and wait for 15 minutes to order my food during a pandemic so the business might have good food but clearly doesn't want business enough to enable people to call it.
I guess I should have ordered something different. The chicken fried steak was a chicken fried burger, eggs were ordered over medium and were under cooked. Hubby was not happy with his meal either. Not sure if it was just an off day or what. Definitely not what I expected for two meals and $35 price tag.
I have no idea how this place is gonna stay I business. Every time I try to come by during the week during business hours there’s no body there. I try to call ahead and their phone doesn’t seem to be connected. The few times I actually got to try the food it was good, but I’m tired of pulling up during business hours and no body being there
I ordered their pork belly ,nasty sour gristly tough quarter inch slabs of unrendered swine, I also ordered a bacon and green chilies grilled cheese on Texas toast with some velvetaish orange goo canned green chilies almost no bacon that was simply the most and nasty inedible the sandwich I have ever taken a bite of the sandwitch came with onion rings that were so soaked in grease oil and Burnt than i could barely chew them i had to actually open my car door and hurl. The sandwich with a side of onion rings their signature pork belly and a coke cost over $28.00 .this place is now under new management and wins the prize for the worst restaurant experience i have ever had .
So sad that this place isn’t the same anymore. The whole feeling of the place is corporate now. Food quality in my honest opinion is more expensive and extremely disappointing considering what we were used to. I’d say tastes similar to a Denny’s burger more than a homemade dinner burger. 3 stars because their staff is still just as amazing as they’ve always been
