I'm going to preface this comment by providing some educational information.Definition: "ANY"We use “ANY” to mean 'it does not matter which or what', to describe something which is not limited. We use this meaning of “ANY” with all types of nouns and usually in affirmative sentences.Definition: "PLAIN"plain adjective (WITH NOTHING ADDED)not decorated in any way; with nothing addedLet me start with the word PLAIN and why I provided a definition. This is important information, not for us the customers, but rather the staff of this location. I ordered a Lotta combo, NM style, PLAIN, regular fries and a pepsi. An order of onion rings, an order of seasoned fries, 3 shakes, strawberry, Pina colada, chocolate.Simple enough? Seems straightforward right? NOT for this location. My drink is given with NO ICE, literally zero. When we bring this to their attention, I get an additional cup (med) of ice for my large drink. Fine, I'll deal, get food and drinks, no strawberry shake, we ask, response: We didn't charge you for a strawberry shake. That could be because the person taking the order wasn't paying attention and having a conversation with a coworker while talking to us. Fine, yet again. Ring us up, we pay and go.I began handing out food, realized the large regular fry is missing, and checked my burger, SLATHERED with mustard. Back to the window we go. Say this is supposed to be PLAIN, we get told.....let me interrupt myself real quick. In my 4 decades+ of life on this Earth, I've worked for and managed in the food and food related industry, also ordered from that same industry from many, many different institutions.I have NEVER heard something as remarkably untrue or unheard of until the MANAGER said “PLAIN means no veggies, we just add mustard” couldn't say anything more than “what?!” explain what we want, meat, chile, cheese, and bread. Response: “Well that would be plain” no $#!+ Sherlock, that's why we said PLAIN. Mentioned missing fries, get a medium seasoned fry. I was done, and wasn't going back. Now let me explain why I provided the definition for ANY.I had an errand to run in town, and I know Blake's started a “Hump day” coffee promotion, seen the advert last go through. I go and order two coffees, the girl taking my order says “those won't be free, you need to purchase something.” I explain, “yes I'm purchasing a coffee….and the second one would be free.” she responds “NO, you need to order a COMBO for that to work” seriously??I said “It says ANY purchase though..” I'm then rudely told “We'll have a total at the window” get to the window and she loudly explains to the very kind and awesome young man collecting. I believe his name was Dylan. “He's not supposed to get one free, but whatever” we pay and leave. If it's free with any combo, say so. It literally just says “Free with ANY purchase.” I told my wife about this and she told me, she had bought a shake for a coworker and was able to get a free iced coffee for herself. Seems to fit the “ANY” part of “ANY purchase.”Needless to say, I'd rather drive to Moriarty, park, walk in, stand in line, order, wait and then get my food and leave, than to to have the “convenience” of the “express” option this location claims, not too express when I gotta get back in line, explain to the workers what's wrong with my order, get it remade while I go sit in a parking spot and wait for them to correct it.I don't feel like I should be required to speak to the workers like they're not intelligent. “I want only A, B, and C, ok?” I feel saying certain words should be sufficient…..a word like PLAIN for example.

I often stop here for a quick bite to eat and, up until now, there was never a mistake on my order. Today they made a small mistake which I went back and pointed out to them. The lady who took my order and fixed the mistake was so pleasant and apologetic I felt bad for inconveniencing her with my minor issue. Honestly just a wonderful human being, terrific person. The food as always was delicious. I highly recommend this Blake's location!

For the love of God.... check your order. Since this place opened I have had to return my orders at least 90% of the time. They never seem to get it right. When you bring the order back they want the receipt, food and social security number. Not really, but that's how they treat you. Management needs to step up or people will stop going. Hopefully we get some competition in Edgewood to send blakes a message

4 burgers and 2 fries was $37.00! They take your money first and then tell you there will be a wait. Ask for your money back and they'll argue until the "food" is ready. When the girl brought the "food" to my car I said, "Hold on. Let me make sure everything is here before you disappear." She said, "Sure, go ahead." and walked away before I could even open the bag. I am disabled and had anything been missing I would have had no choice but to wait in line all over again. Finally, the "food" was so bad even my dog wouldn't eat it. NEVER AGAIN!Response to owner: You've already wasted my time and money. Why would I let you waste more of either?
