The place was sooooo dirty! The table they seated us at had food, trash, crayons and a fork still under the table and French fries on the chairs. I had to ask for them to sweep it up before they sat us down. Thought it was just our table but when I looked it was just as dirty at the other tables. My chili cheese fries came cold. Skip the Edgewood store and drive the extra 7 miles to the one in Moriarty. Food is always good there and it's always clean. AND WE HAD TO STAND OUTSIDE IN THE COLD TO WAIT ON A TABLE PER THE HOSTESS INSTRUCTIONS! Are you kidding me!!! Yuck! Pick a different restaurant.

There aren't alot of food places I'll give 5 stars too, although this place made me feel as if I traveled back into time and ate a home cooked meal. Sherry was my server and her knowledge, professionalism, and over all kindness was unmatched. I ordered the eggs and enchiladas plate, green sauce and beef, with the sides of beans, papitas, and bacon. Stay true to yourself Chili Hills and thank you for an incredible experience.

We stopped at a gas station to fill up and asked about nearby restaurants. Chili hills was recommended. We stopped at the one in Edgewood. Food was amazing. I had the chicken fried steak. It was homemade and huge, took up the entire plate, my 3 sides took an entire plate as well. (Yes I had to get a to go plate). Husband had the Duke burger, it lacked flavor but not bad overall. Service was great. Building needs updating but it’s clean and that’s more important. We will definitely be returning when we pass through the area.

Very kind waitress, prompt service, and the BLT I had was out of this world! I loved the old-fashioned Route 66 motif that decorated the inside. Of course, having a good friend with me made it all the more enjoyable.
