If I lived nearby, I’d be here every day trying everything on the menu. Everything I ordered (both food and drinks) was absolutely incredible. The best part is that they use organic or locally sourced ingredients, which makes it feel like a true gem. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the owners are both welcoming and knowledgeable. So grateful this spot exists!

45 minute wait for 2 items is ridiculous. Not worthwhile. Go elsewhere!
Such a cute little place to have breakfast or lunch. We sat outside and loved the atmosphere

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my visit to Kokopelli Cafe was a lesson in frustration and poor service.
We ordered three simple breakfast sandwiches — nothing complicated — yet it somehow took 30 minutes for them to arrive. We were the only customers in the cafe, so there was no excuse for such a long wait.
To make matters worse, we also ordered a cinnamon roll that took 25 minutes to come out, and when it did, it was still cold in the middle. When I politely asked about it, the female worker responded with attitude and told me it would be “two more minutes.” That kind of dismissiveness was disappointing and unprofessional.
There was a man who seemed to be new or in training, and while he was friendly, he was moving at a very slow pace. He did his best, but it was obvious the staff wasn’t being supported or managed well.
With such a long wait, cold food, and a side of bad attitude — all while being the only ones there — I can’t say I’ll be returning anytime soon. Hopefully, they can sort things out, but for now, I’d recommend grabbing breakfast somewhere else.

We love this place! Delicious breakfast sandwiches! The coffee?! So good. The Desert Rose coffee is heavenly. While we go to Elephant Butte for camping/fishing, we now stop here at least once because it’s so good. I think the only downside is the wait time even when they aren’t as busy. It’s taken close to 30 min or more for 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees.

Never had Lotus drinks til I came here and fell in love with them! Could drink one every day honestly. Bagels and cinnamon rolls are amazingggg. Great spot to enjoy some coffee in the sun on these cool mornings🤞
Love everything about this place. Visiting from Houston, we came by to get a late breakfast. The place is very welcoming with beautiful plants on the cute patio. Monica and the barista were very friendly and provided top notch service and great conversation. We had delicious oat milk lattes and the best egg croissant sandwiches we've ever had. We also got some tasty pastries and a plant based energy drunk to go. If we lived in town we would be regular customers. We'll be back next year.

We were camping at elephant butte and decided to get caffeinated on the way back home, so we stopped by Kokopelli’s cafe. It was definitely a good choice! My boyfriend got an Americano and I got a Masala chai, we also got a spinach bacon quiche and a raspberry and white chocolate scone. Everything was extremely good! The owner was also very lovely and sweet. Thank you for a great experience! :)
