Waited 24 minutes in drive thru for a blt no bacon strips just crumbles of bacon on top of it the sandwich was soggy because of all the nasty pickles they through in the box mostly shredded lettuce use to be an awesome sandwich now they use 1 piece of bacon Crum le it up and call it a sandwich won't be doing that again

Staff is friendly, customers are friendly, super clean love the retro vibe. Got the burritos they were great and GIANT sopapillas. You can definitely share one! Next time i will try the tewa tacos!

I have eaten here several times. I am a vegetarian, and have been really happy to be able to have bean tacos. As a vegetarian I have missed being able to order tacos. Most places don't have tacos for me, or they want to make them weird, instead of a normal taco with beans or potatoes in them. I love beans in tacos! Tonight though I ordered the tacos de valle, which are on the vegetarian menu. I was really looking forward to them, after a long stressful day. When I bite into it, instead of the beans, with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, it was an avocado sauce, with mostly lettuce, no tomato, and very little cheese. I didn't like them, and then my stomach hurt after I ate them. I was very disappointed. The salsa usually has a little heat, but tonight it had zero heat. I hope this isn't a permanent change in how they make vegetarian tacos, because I really enjoyed the bean tacos they had before, and salsa with at least a little heat.
Vegetarian options: I have not tried everything, only their tacos de valle, their Indian taco, and fries. The Indian taco was very good and the tacos de valle with beans were delicious, but not the avocado sauce tacos, those were awful! I have not tried the veggie burger, because it's too expensive, for the same price I can get a combo with a drink and fries and green Chile, at Burger King, instead of just a burger. They have burritos, and I think salad. The veggie combo is a bean taco and a bean burrito, no drink, no fries. So I didn't order

We stopped here to pickup food for the trip back to El Paso and a restroom stop. Was going to get a breakfast burrito for me and the wife but decided to get one of their burgers so I could drive and eat. The restaurant is retro Rt 66, clean and friendly service. We’ll continue to stop here in our travels to Coopers El Vado ranch. Try it, you decide! David

I had high hopes for that Dandy burger after a long drive from Colorado. It fell way short. It was a dry burger. The onion rings were good. Maybe it was an off night. I would go there before having a big Mac, but I'd pass if Whatta Burger was close by.
Wide variety of Mexican foods plus a wide variety of drivein standards. The Dandy Burger had EVERYTHING on it. Add green chilies to clean out your sinus!

I have to update my original rating of Dandy's. For the second time in a row, I have been disappointed when ordering at the drive-through. Each time I found out when I got home with my order that it was wrong. Either their drive-through microphone needs to be fixed or they need more training to get the order correct. I doubt that I will use the drive-through ever again.
