Don't go if you don't like spicy, everything was hot which is not good for this gringo girl.
Food was amazing! Service was excellent! Devon is the best!
It's one of our favorite places for date night. The food and drinks never disappoint.
We experienced attentive service, excellent and plentiful food, and classic margaritas. I'd particularly like to praise the carne adovada: tender, flavorful, and not salty at all. It feels like the 1970's inside, with colored windows and a living tree growing through what looks like a shed added on to a core building. The bar crowd was friendly and talkative.
Reservations through Google don't work. Be sure to call them instead. It may be necessary to call a day or more in advance. Without reservations, we found bar seats (which include a few tall side tables and a couch-and-coffee-table arrangement) around 4pm on a Friday. Nevertheless, service was just as attentive as if we had proper reservations. The staff have a sense of pride in their appearance and manners. Restroom was clean and orderly.
Come ready to spend -- it's not cheap, but you won't regret it.
It was nice to go back to a restaurant on Española, NM that we have enjoyed for many years. Just as good as I remembered!
Top tier service, excellent Northern New Mexico foods

I've had Christmas eve dinner here every year since 1993. Even when I lived out of state. The carne adovada with posole is something else. Covid screwed them up pretty good like most businesses, but they are back open for a few days a week. There's an old cottonwood tree in the restaurant next to a wood stove. Drove 125 miles for dinner.

This restaurant is by reservation only. I made my reservation 3 days in advance by calling the little shack outside Paragua. The food is excellent BUT the service sucked! We got water, chips, and salsa right away but it took half hour before our waiter took our order. Then for us to get our bill was close to impossible. We had nothing but time so we people watch and all the tables around us were just waiting and waiting for someone to take their orders. Good food just make sure you have time on your hands.

I try to support local businesses however after questioning my outrageous bill and having the owner giving me attitude and walking away not offering resolution, I now see why they are only open two nights a week. I also now understand the reason so many locals do not want to support this establishment.

Don’t even waste your time, as you entered you are greeted by no one, once a server does acknowledge you, that’s it. You are left standing at the door for over 10 minutes, walked out after that. Absolute trash establishment. Will never return
