It was lunchtime and we were hungry. Went in and the hostess just replied sit wherever. Sat and waited 5 minutes and she comes with menus and just toss on table with silverware. We say thank you and she don't say anything just walks away. So we just got up and left!! Never again will we go there, very unfriendly and not welcoming. So my rating for this establishment is 1 ⭐

Excellent service the food was really great. I recommend the chicken fried steak with a side of x-mas . Our waiter was awesome and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The breakfast burritos are also Great. The speed of service was fantastic. Great for family breakfast and lunch.

Espanola, in my opinion, is one of the last remaining strongholds of authentic Northern New Mexican cuisine, and JoAnn’s Ranch O Casados Restaurant exemplifies this.

Despite its unexpected decor—Tiffany-style lighting and wood paneling reminiscent of an early 1980s beer hall or steakhouse—the food is exceptional. The beans were fresh and perfectly cooked along with the posole which was also perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the carne adovada, paired with crisp lettuce and tomato, represents true Northern New Mexican flavors, reflecting the cooks' evident pride. While the coffee was slightly bitter for my liking, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal overall.

The service was attentive and great. However, JoAnn’s adds a surcharge to card transactions, which was surprising. Nevertheless, the food prices are reasonable, which offset the additional surcharge charge.

Been stopping here for last couple of years when we're in Espanola and it is always a hit. I tried the relleno plate this last time and WOW, great rellenos. It was chile season but many times restaurants will still use machine prepared frozen stock. These were made fresh! Nice. Very nice front and kitchen staff.

We pass thru Espanola often and have just passed by restaurant thinking "we'll eat when we get to Santa Fe". But we stopped today and WHOA... We've been missing out. Spanish omelette w/green chile. Chicken fried steak w/eggs. Excellent. Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back.

I've been living in Espanola for over 2 months now, and I've been dying to eat here... It didn't disappoint me!!!... Great food, Great service, and Great Atmosphere!!!... I'll be back!!!... By the way, I had the Juevos Rancheros...

The food is an excellent example of classic New Mexico cuisine. When in New Mexico we make sure to come here at least once for lunch.
