I pick up door dash orders and the staff here will not answer the red button for me. I wait sometimes ten plus minutes. I am usually forced to walk inside sonic and tell them I have a door dash order. The manager always gets mad at me for doing so but there’s no other choice. Go to the sonic by motel 6 instead. You will save yourself from the hassle.

Every time I go to this location it’s either the stalls are closed, the drive thru is closed, or they short you on whatever item of food you’re buying. I didn’t know the whip cream on the drinks comes out of the pockets of the workers themselves. Instead of wasting the $6 bucks this stupid drinks costs, i’ll spare my money next time and purchase a 6 pack of sodas.

Ordered 2 drinks on the app on a Sunday afternoon. Checked in the drive-in and paid on the app. Waited 10 mins and pushed the button to see what was the hold-up. A few minutes later, an unintelligible voice said something. I explained I'd been waiting almost 15 minutes for 2 drinks. No response. I push the button again. 20 mins goes by. I go to the door and knock a few times. Nobody ever looks over. Go back to my car and push the button again. This time a different voice comes on, apologizes for the wait, and tells me to go through the drive-thru. Call the store several times to ask the manager why it's so hard to walk 2 drinks out. No answer. No time to wait in drive-thru so leave without a refund and call a few more times throughout the day. Still no answer. What a pathetic business.

In the last 2 months of trying, I just seem to be on a different wavelength than this place. If it's after 9:30 PM, it's a 50-50 shot if they'll answer you in the drive-thru and if they manage to answer within 5 minutes they'll almost invariably tell you they've been closed for a half hour no matter what the time is. Google says they're open until midnight but maybe it's only noon 🤔
And if they do admit to being open, something is either always broken or down: the fryer, the grill, the ice cream machine, the cars reader, the till...
The only time I got to eat here my friend stopped to bring me food on her way to my work just down the street. I just wanted extra crispy tater tots and a cherry limeade. We were on the phone for 30 minutes waiting for it, and in the 2 minutes it took to get to me it was a cold, greasy, rubbery reminder of what someone else's leftovers are really like. 🤢
Tonight was the last attempt. If after 16 visits I can't manage to get food once, it was never going to happen. I've tried (on average) 2x a week go get food here and I just can't manage it.
Go to the other one just on the edge of town. I literally carry cash so I can tip them. They're the best Sonic in New Mexico and, dare I say, of the 5 States I've been to.

Service at the Riverside Sonic in Espanola was horrible I waited over 25 minutes for my food and the carhop said they had lost my order.. I asked for my money back and they wouldn’t give it back to me instead they brought out the most disgusting chicken strips that I just had to throw away! And this is that we tipped them!
Person taking the Orders was nice but the girl working the window Named Erica is what my Ticket says was annoyed when I added a Large Mozzarella saying “Would you like to add anything else at the window” after rolling her eyes.

Decent food, but would have been better with condiments. We didn't realize that we didn't have any until after we drove away. Chicken nuggets, bunless burger, and fries with no sauces.
Dietary restrictions: I got a bunless burger. Putting it on a tray was nice. Leaving out all the condiments wasn't.
