Took the family to Shanhai for dinner. No buffet so had to order off the menu. Service was very slow even tho the place was not so busy. Value of food for cost was a bit on the high side and to top it off since we were a party of more than 6 persons our bill included an 18% gratuity.
Drove down to Espanola from Taos after reading reviews. It was a Saturday, posted that they opened at 12:00 pm. Approaching restaurant (12:05 pm) we noticed people waiting outside.12:20 pm we walked away. They still hadn't opened. No sign stating closure. Good idea to call before you stop.

We live a ways from town and when we decide to order from here we call our neighbor to see if they want to order something which is usually the case we always tell them they are seperate orders and it never fails they insist on packing a med box of rice instead of 2 reg and 1 cup of soup to devide between 3 orders I understand they try to save boxes but it makes it very complicated for delivery someone always has to end up without
