Great food - salsa is delicious but green chiles sauce was not very spicy the day we went even though well I was told that theirs was the hottest around. Regardless, the stuffed sopapilla was huge and absolutely delicious.
The guys I was traveling with saw the outside of this place and refused to eat here. I made them go in with me anyways, and the whole meal all they could say was how great the food was and I enjoyed every minute of it”told you so.” One of them even bought a jar of their salsa to take home.
The food we ordered was good. Asked for sides, which they didn't have. Ordered coffee they didn't have tea or creamer. The Huevos rancheros comes with country style potatoes. The plate has been the victim of foodflation. The sauce was good. The music is catered to an aging customer base. The menu was easy simple and local favorites. It seems it has lost the spiciness and zip in the New Mexico Chile dept.
