I liked the food. Service was disappointing. Never got a refill on my drink. I saw my waitress she took my order, a different waitress came out with the food and the ticket, never saw anyone again. If the service was better I would have loved this place.

First time eating at The Purple Cow. My experience was solely based off of Biscuit and Gravy. I am a picky eater, I like gravy that is not made with sausage or bacon. If you’re looking for something with spice there is limited red or green chili dishes. Over all the food was good just your normal menu of a country style meal.

I like the vibe,The food was good,Like Yoda would say,Eat here you should.Not a person in the place was not smiling or having fun. It's decor is charming and it feels like mi casa.I enjoyed the food and my only complaint was that I did not find something to complain about. This was my second time here and probably my last. Our server was inattentive but the food was ok. We weren’t given colors or papers for our toddler so it wasn’t very family friendly. Also, the lack of diversity really concerned me. Maybe I didn’t notice it the first time around but I easily felt like I was not the target audience for this establishment. So if you go to this restaurant, make sure you are white, over 50 and have no kids with you.

The best BBQ ribs and sause I have had by far in a while they beat the BBQ LAB in Johnston county, NC on my scale of smokiness. I also look forward to coming back and try the Brunswick stew if they bring it on the menu.
