I can always count on a freshly brewed cider and a welcoming greeting each time I visit. The pool tables are beautifully felted. The jukebox is always going and to me it's a perfect dive bar.
This is a great local place. It has a dive bar, old saloon type of feel, but it's very clean and well-kept. The Tap Room only serves beer (the restaurant and the brewstillery serve liquor), but the beer is made in-house and is fantastic. My personal favorites are the Sky High IPA and 'Merica Pale Ale. The Pizza was delicious. A geat crust cooked to perfection. We added pepperoni, spicy sausage, onions and we topped it off with green chili.The Papa Bear Honey Ale was good, but the Sandia Watermellon Cider was fantastic. Wow was it delicious.They also offered any of thier tap brews to go, in either a sealed 32 oz can or a 64 oz sealed growler.The watermelon cider was so good that we had to get a couple of cans to go.Also they will offer you a taste of any tap brew they offer....
