A quiet decent bar west of the Gila NF. The main food option here is the pizzas, which was delicious. We ordered a couple pizzas and it took 20-25 minutes and tasted delicious! Great option if you're staying or camping in the area and need a break from cooking dinner.

Great people. Had fun with people we didn't know watching the D-backs. The only place open that served food pizza only and it was good.

Small town bar. Was expecting more small town charm/vibe. Pretty poor selection (I know somewhat expected in small town a bit worse than I thought though). I grew up in town about the same size (bit smaller) had 2 bars both with more charm and selection. Outside area was pretty cool, need to go back in day/evening to enjoy that. Overall enjoyed it, just not quite 5 star small town place.

Went yesterday with my wife to eat pizza and have a few beers at 1630 (supposedly they open at 1400 or 1600). The lady cleaning the window inside saw us and said nothing. So we got out of the car and stood and looked, tried opening the door, it was locked. Then she came outside, put the blinds down and hurry back in (it was trying to get her attention). So my wife and I assumed that our kind were not welcome in this establishment (we are Hispanics). So we drove all the way back to silver city to get dinner chow. 23 years of active duty service, 3 combat tours. 17 years training soldiers after I retired so we can maintain our way of life. Somethings just don't change.

Look, if you want to know what America is really about these are the kind of places to visit. Didn't catch the cowboys name who was tending but thank you sir.

This place is so special it's hard to know where to begin or what to say. It's very local in the best of ways with a very open and welcoming crowd. The bartender knows everyone that comes in. If you are lucky enough to be there on a Saturday you'll get to hear Monty play and sing , a real singing cowboy.
