This is totally five stars of New Mexico restaurants and right up with any restaurant anywhere! The Larry Special is an absolute MUST try and it’s the perfect blending of everything included and hits the spot especially if you go Christmas. The pancake is also DELICIOUS and the service I received was the best and I felt valued and like I mattered and the atmosphere in the morning was low key and relaxed. Definitely swing by if in the area or on Rt. 66! Also good prices!

Service was great... Very clean. Food was a huge disappointment. Out of four meals for the table nothing had any flavor... And the salsa is from a jar... And u have to pay for. Great place to stop and grab a water... Taco bell down the road would of been a better option.

I had a few items from the menu. The Tostada with meat and Guacamole was amazing the best one I have had. The apple deep fried dessert was good. I had the special of the blue corn enchilada. The outside edge of the blue corn enchilada was firm and cooked but the center was mushy and raw. The waitress said that is how it was made. I never had blue corn tortillas but I would not think it would be mushy. The red sauce was different. It had a spice that was harsh so I asked the waitress what she recommend would cut that bold and odd spice. I asked if more cheese, sour cream, or guacamole would work the best. She said the sour cream. I tried it and it did not work. While I was eating, a male and child stop at my table to sell jewelry, it made me uncomfortable and I told them twice that I was not interested then they left. I asked the waitress if it is common for people to come in like that. She said yes that sometimes the staff buys items too. I ask if the owners approve these people coming in, she said yes. She said did they both me? I said kind of and I do not like to be interrupt during a meal with myself or with others for people to try to pressure me to buy things. I would come back for some of the food but I will have to decision if I want to deal with the pressure of people selling things while I am eating is with it and most of the time for me, it is not. Then when I got the bill, it was about $5-10 higher than I expected so I looked at it. They charged me $2 for sour cream if the waitress told me there would be up an up charge for it, I would not have got it. Also, the blue corn enchilada special was over $14 which I thought was weird because their other enchiladas were like nine dollars and like the plates were like $12-$13 but my special one with no beans and rice was over $14. I would not recommend that item for the mushiness and cost.

We used to drive there just for the food and every visit we always stopped there. Not going to anymore. Tacos were half soft half hard beef had no taste rice water soupy and too much tomato sauce too much pepper in the salsa took away the flavor. We waited 5 minutes just to get a drink order taken. I will say the girls bussing and helping our server were great and we always love to get a hello from Lena she’s always a great personality. But for the first time in many years was very disappointed with the food.
