This was my first visit to El Vaquero. The service was Great. I ordered the catfish dinner with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. I wasn't impressed and I'm willing to go back and try one of their Mexican dished before I say I won't visit this restaurant again. The Great customer service is why I'm willing to give them a second visit.

The people are great there, but the food has made me sick in my last two visits. The food is also a bit bland. But the upside is that it’s a buffet and they’re always on top having it stocked up!

I give it 2 stars because the food and agua de pepino was good.Reason why I did not rate well: the waitress are more concerned with their looks showing as much skin as possible. Belly showing, bra straps showing, her bare back showing. Our waitress was too busy with gossip that we had to ask a different waitress to bring out our chips and drinks after we had already gave our order to the other waitress. Our waitress didn’t even put in one of our orders when the rest of the table had got buffet, (she only had one order to put in) everyone was done eating and still had to wait for the order to come out. She tried to fix it by not charging us the meal but the owner needs to put down a dress code and reinforce training to prevent missed orders or have a manger to enforce work production.
