This had to be one of the worst Mexican restaurants that I went to in Hobbs, NM. I did not like the menu setup and description of entrees. I took a shot at ordering something unfamiliar to me and I got what I deserved. I could see if I was in Mexico and I was familiar with the cuisine. The rice was crayon orange and the refried beans had an after taste that was repulsive. Since Tia Juana's was not open, my husband and I decided to try this place. Big mistake.

Food was excellent better then we could expect we were promptly acknowledged with a friendly greeting and sat immediately our drinks and meal were promptly served and our hostess was very friendly I ordered the chaparel and my Buddy had the steak and shrimp my meal was excellent and he said that his was the best he'd had in the 3 months we've been in hobbs and the steak was better then texas roadhouse or any other steak he had eaten in hobbs I highly recommend giving this place a chance

This place has great potential. Great spot. Great atmosphere. The food was not having the same night. The queso was out of a can taste. Chips were good the green avocado sauce was great. I expected the salsa to be hot and better because of the name of the restaurant. I was disappointed.

Food was terrible and way overpriced only tried 1 bite of enchiladas and 1 bite of a taco sent my plate back and they said if didn't pay they were calling the cops ,and no they didn't bring me anything else
First time to eat here, and we were greeted with the friendliest staff. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely fantastic!! Our waitress was so friendly and professional! We are from out of town but go to Hobbs several times a month and we will definitely be going back to eat. Well done HABANEROS!!
