Keeping in mind we went on Christmas night with no high expectations due to other restaurants being closed. With that being said I didnt think the wait time was bad and we did notice the restaurant was short staffed. 2 cooks 1 manager 3 servers and a busser. There was a wait of about 30 mins to 1 hr which we had no issue with. The issue that we came across was when an employee who was off walked in told one of the servers she had a party of ten and was told she had to wait I guess she felt entitled enough that she didn't have to wait and sat in an area that was closed skipping the several parties on a wait list in front of her. As if that wasn't bad enough one of the cooks kept walking out of the kitchen to go chit chat and sit with said employee leaving the other cook struggling be herself. The staff was not going to do anything about it unless someone complained as per what all the customers overheard while we waited. I did bring it up to one of the servers and they brought it up to the manager. The manager told me herself that she had told the cook, who initially told the employee who was off to sit at that section, that she couldn't do that, but the cook obviously has no respect for her manager nor the customers. The employee who was off also has no respect for anything as she was told no not only by a server but the manager yet she still did it. After I brought it up to the attention of the staff parties started getting sat quickly which also caused everyone to go on overdrive. The food was actually pretty good considering how disastrous the shift was. The service could have been better. It wasn't that bad, but had the staff kept the pace they had before the entitled employee came in I think every table would have had a way better experience. All my comments come from a lot of observation and from working in the industry for 2 decades and from a GMs point of view. With a short staff the manager on duty was definitely set for failure and so were the servers.

The server was very attentive and she actually gave us candy for our kids on Halloween night, the food was fresh and tasty
Our server Gina was so sweet and very helpful! Will ask for her next time. Also the food was sooo fresh and delicious.

I will be honest about one thing the people there at that time we not very friendly or helpful but what totally blow my mind was a very special person I had no idea who he was he paid for my breakfast. I will say something I got faith in people again after that I had lost hope and faith in humanity the way things have gone for someone with no idea who I was did that thoughtful kind jester

Awful experience and to charge for refills on sweet tea when it states free refills on the menu!
They neverr seated me idk if it was because i was alone but they just stared at me and didn't asked me anything

I have been to IHOP for 50+ years everywhere. Never have I seen such low quality food. Not hot bacon was not easily to even chew or bite on. It looked refried, and it was like leather. I cook bacon a lot at home, and that was not fresh cooked bacon not even close. And if it’s not, don’t give me old bacon, it should be cooked to Order. And typically of what I see in service and food these days. How can some of these young people even be managers? They don’t know how to talk to adults like an adult.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, but what really made the difference was the excellent service. Iván was very kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect during our visit. His friendly attitude and professionalism made us feel truly welcome. Thank you, Iván, for such outstanding service!
