I've never had a complaint for this location. Food is fresh every time and delivered within a reasonable period of time. I can't say that about every Sonic.Kid-friendliness: They definitely are one of my kids favorite places to eat, and have meal options for kids.

Got the double cheeseburger meal. The burger was ok, kinda sloppy. The DP tasted like the soda machine needed cleaning, didn't finish. The fries sucked, tasted like oil hadn't been changed in weeks, didn't finish.

It's SONIC! We made a pit stop for corn dogs and tater tots...our version of a late lunch.Parking: It's crowded at lunch, but spots are available after 1:00pm.

My experiences at this Sonic has been the complete opposite of other drive-in lovers recently (as of mid-August 2023).Mainly I come here for a quick refreshing drink.I order limeades of all kinds through the app and get them half off that way any time of the day - not just at happy hour like the days of old. It's easy to use the app. Ensure you're at the correct location. After you submit your order and reach a Sonic stall, open up the app and check in. The number of each stall is on the left-hand side of the stall TV screen. Apple pay is accepted which makes this whole process even faster. There is a young lady who has been serving here for the past couple of weeks. She is the one who has brought my drink orders each time. She is noticeably a hard worker and amicable, speaking clearly and repeating my order before she hands it to me. I know she probably won't be there long because she's a great worker, but I'm giving this second Sonic location in Hobbs 4 stars just for her.Also, another thing to note, when I use the app, my food orders arrive Jeep-side correctly plus hot and fresh. They have a nicer seating area than the other location, but who really wants to sit in this hot August heat?!

Is it my imagination or all Sonics going down hill? Was in Hobbs for little league baseball tournament. Went to this sonic for food and drinks. Everything we got was cold! French fries and tater tots were especially bad. Corn dogs seemed like leftovers from the day before. I have sworn off Sonic in our hometown and will add this one to the list.
