Whenever I'm in the Hobbs area, I eat here for their Asado. Their other menu items are really good but I crave the Asado.

We are in town with our belgian malinois. The owner sat us at a table outside and even gave our dog some water. The food and service were excellent. My husband and I both had the Tia Juana's steak with Chipotle sauce and calbacitas. All cooked perfectly. Would definitely come back the next time we are in town.

The food was very good!
Service... not so much. Not fast or FRIENDLY. Maybe it was a bad afternoon for everyone, but after reading other reviews, probably just shitty service, regardless of the time of day.

This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy, we waited quite a while just to be seated. We figured they might be short-staffed and tried to be understanding, but things didn’t get any better from there.

When our food came out, we were told they had run out of silverware—which felt strange and a bit unsettling.

Our food was cold. We let them know, and they took it back, but it was returned still cold. At that point, we just sent it back for good and didn’t want it.

This place has clearly gone downhill. Poor service, poorly managed, and completely disappointing. We won’t be back—and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Today was not like usual. The cook stumped their toe when they were salting ALL the food, beans, rice, enchiladas, chimichangas and chips. We can salt our own, this was pretty close to being not edible.

It took over an hour to get food and it wasn’t even great food , our server was upset because we were going to leave n just pay for chips n drinks and she had someone else bring food out .

Food had very little flavor, most of it tasted like it came out of a can. My husband ordered a burger and had no condiments on it the burger was well done but was extremely dry. I know it claims to be a Mexican grill but has no authentic flavor.

The first time we ate there was great, food was hot and yummy. But the second time? Total bummer! The wait was forever, the food was cold, and we basically only ate the appetizer and drank our drink. Plus, the table was sticky! It was awful. Probably the last time we'll ever eat there. Total disappointment.

I used to go to the one in Roswell, I’m visiting from Ruidoso & thought to try this.., this one is as good as the one that used to be in Roswell!! I’m super happy they kept the menu the same as what Jeff Wilson the orginal owner started!! I will be back when in town!!’

The queso was rancid and management, (Diana) was the WORST I have ever seen, people were finding foreign objects in food and manager thought it was funny. Will be telling everyone I know, including the department of Health . Nothing was done and me or my family will NEVER return.

Beef was not the best quality, you can taste the grill on the food and not in a good way. Chips and salsa was good. Place was clean.
