A small town diner for sure, but that's a positive thing bc inside definitely has that old school feel...love it. Sadly I'm a chicken fried steak guy, but it's country fried steak, and oh yes I KNOW the difference. However....on that negative not there is a positive because....it was HOT and tasted good. The panini style toast is a lovely touch. Definitely will want to bring the wife with me for a burger....she's the burger fanatic.

The service was fast and very friendly- impressive considering there wasn't an open seat in there.

Very pleasant little diner with friendly service. The diner is well maintained and the food is decent. We ordered the Rockin' Robin burger, but the chicken fried steak looked really good. The onion rings must be exceptionally good because they sold out quickly.

Coles is a real gem. Locally owned restaurant with great burgers, sandwiches and a great variety of dinner options for a small town. The staff and atmosphere are very pleasant. Plus there desserts and ice cream are excellant.

I love this place when I drive through Jal nm. This is where I stop. I will starve just so I can get a to go order. The people that work here and own it are so friendly and kind. If you ask for specific or special things, they will always try their best to accommodate you. They are very good Christian people. Could not ask for better service.
