Me being a truck driver from el paso tx, its hard to find authentic mexican restaurants where i can park my semi and go have a hot meal.....well, i just found this hidden gem in Jal NM.....5 mins walk from truck stop......best menudo ive eaten, other than from my hometown....sodas bottles from mexico and fresh toasted bolio bread.....i will be coming back every Sunday for menudo and during the week for burritos....

Super delicious and Authentic as it gets. Best mexican food in 1000 mile radius. You definitely gotta try the green enchiladas or chilaquiles and the red ones too you won't be disappointed .The huevos norteños , QuesaBirria Tacos n al pastor tacos, Tripa tacos 🔥🔥 delicious. Breakfast & lunch ALL day everyday can't beat that 😋 oh & the wings are fantastic . 5⭐️

The food needs just a tad work on presentation, but damn! them tacos were good! The salsa had a pretty good flavor. I want to try the quesabirrias next time around!

Best Asado I’ve had ever eaten in my opinion. The owner does it all. Eggs La Mexicana were tasty, refried beans very good. Not a cheap place but it is on the edge of the most prolific oilfield’s in the world.

Very small place, seats maybe 20. But they make uo for lack of size with great food and portions. The service was great. I ordered Menudo (available on Sundays) and a breakfast burrito to take with me. Good little spot if you're in Jal.
