Such a good vibe at the castaneda! Food was great, service was great, and the host with the most Francisco was attentive with all the guests and had some fun ghost stories to share as well as being super knowledgeable about the property ? thank you for the good
This is listed as a bar but it is much more than that. The Castaneda restaurant is open to the public and is one of the few upscale eateries in Las Vegas NM. The menu is very limited but gets it's insperation from the original Harvey hotel menu from the 1880s. We enjoyed our meal and time together over dinner.
My parents and I were recommended the plaza but Castaneda was able to accommodate us. We had planned a dinner at the bar and it became more.The food was awesome! Carne (can't recall the 2nd word) fries was a massive appetizer. The smash burger, again salad and shrimp po boy were damn near perfect.Manager Franciso gave us the history of the hotel for 15mins. He was friendly and knowledgeable. After dinner he opened up the bottle room for us and talked about local distilleries....
