Been coming here from Colorado. Why no cream puffs? It's on the sign?? Things have changed but not for the good, since Covid. So sorry for this. ?

My family and I visited this local eatery in Las Vegas. It does not look like much on the outside but the interior was well lit and clean. We were seated almost immediately. It took the wait staff a bit to get to our table but the restaurant was busy at the time.
We ordered the chips and salsa to start. A lot of the chips were broken into smaller pieces but the salsa had a slight kick to it. We ordered: Charlie’s Grande Burger, the BLT, and the Chicken strips. The food was very good with the green chile being more spicy than I expected.
If you are in Las Vegas, stop by this place and give it a try.

I can't deny that the food at Charlie's Spic & Span is delicious. However, my family and I recently used them to cater an event. We ordered and paid for 5 dozen sopapillas and they only gave us one dozen. When we asked for a gift card or our money back. they told us we never ordered 5 dozen and refuse to look at our receipt. The service is terrible! Not what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant in a small town. It is absolutely disappointing that Charlie can't make this right.

We have eaten both lunch and breakfast here. Absolutely delicious and the service great! A must visit when in Las Vegas, NM!
Large portions and good value as you're sure to take home leftovers for another day.
Parking: If you can't park outside, there is a parking lot across the road.

Going off the name of the restaurant, I didn't know what kind of food to expect here. This is a happenin' place and I can see why! There was a 25 minute wait for a table at 12:15 p.m. on a Friday. While I was perusing the menu, I overheard the men next to me talking about their fresh, hand-made tortillas that are to die for. I ordered the CHEESE ENCHILADA AND TAMALE. It comes with pinto beans and rice. To my surprise, it also came with a warm fresh-made flour tortilla. Looking at the reviews, I see I missed out on a dessert or CREAM PUFF. Next time I'm here, I'll definitely have to try out some of their delicacies!

Charlies has good New Mexico style food and the service was great the only reason for the 4 stars is they could not accomadate such big party(I get it over 20 people) but they did not allow us to split the bill either from table to table so we had to sit at the table with those who we were paying for. Other then that great food good experience will definitely return.

I think the food and service was great but this second time around, I didn't realize people was allowed to bring dogs around, we happened to be next table, although I loved dogs I actually lost my appetite, honestly don't think it's sanitizing..
Charlie's Spic and Span in Las Vegas, New Mexico is a must-visit spot, especially if you're looking for delicious, homemade New Mexican cuisine. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the smell of freshly baked goods. Their tortillas are legendary—soft, fresh, and served warm. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast or lunch, the menu offers a great variety of New Mexican classics like green chile, enchiladas, and tamales.
One of the highlights is definitely their pastries. The homemade donuts and cinnamon rolls are huge and absolutely delicious—perfect with a cup of coffee. The staff is always friendly, making sure you feel right at home. It's a popular place, so it can get a little busy, but the food is well worth the wait.
If you're ever in Las Vegas, NM, Charlie's Spic and Span is a great place to enjoy some authentic local flavor and friendly service. Don't forget to take some baked goods to go!
The quesadilla was good, donuts were pretty good, salsa is pretty hot, but we came for the famous cream puffs and they don't make them anymore!

Charlie's has been my wife and my favorite Mexican food restaurant for at least 15 years. We just don't get there often enough. Best meal...Two enchiladas and chile relleno with shredded beef and pasole. They recently discontinued the shredded beef. Please, please, bring the shredded beef back. I will pay double. It's that good!!
