It was absolutely the worst last one I’ve ever visited in my entire life. The food was disgusting old cold. Processed meat, soggy fish not knowing at all what they’re doing cold mashed potatoes, cold ice cold plates. Everything was absolutely totally disgusting and the restaurant itself was extremely dirty. Somebody should do something call an inspector. The service was very poor . how they stay in business I don’t know. The end result was we got up and left without paying a dime because they were offering as a replacement no better than the food they brought us.

The enchiladas were not good and the price is too much. My girl got the soggy bland tacos.
Dinner for 2, $40 bucks . Not worth it.

Decided was not safe to leave our RV in the parking lot as this was a place for grifters & loitering. Very sad to have to leave and go to another restaurant.

Took the family in for a trip down memory lane from my childhood. Hillcrest has not changed one bit, and that's a huge plus! The food is the same from 30 years ago. The atmosphere is welcoming. The service was superb especially with no empty table and only 2 ladies working to take order, bring and refill refreshments, and bus/turn over tables as customer left. So thankful to have this cozy establishment as a stop on our trips from KS to NM. Oh and may I note they were able to accommodate request for a lunch item during breakfast hours. Just superb!

Very pleasant waitress. She recommended the Chicken rice soup which was very good. I ordered the Tostada which was served in 2 mini shells heaped with ground beef, beans, lettuce and tomato. I topped it with their salsa, which was tasty, not too hot. For desert I had their home made lemon meringue pie...DELISH!
