Was passing by and seen this on our google recommendations for sushi and we decided to give it a try. Let me tel u. Best decision we ever made. This little hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere has the best damn ramen soups and sushi that I’ve had in a good while. I would recommend this place before any of the sushi places in Abq. The waitress and just the atmosphere in general were great. Will be stopping by again soon. Thank u guys for some much needed good food and service

I give this place 5/5. The food and service was amazing. We are from Austin,Tx even for being out in the middle of no where, we should know the supply for fresh seafood is scares. The price are high due to supply and demand and that is understandable. The sushi and experience was worth the price. They manage to deliver excellent sushi. The waiter and chef was so nice.

As somebody who lived in California, almost their whole life i have been to sushi restaurants that cost you as much as a car payment. It is very affordable sushi and the food tastes absolutely delicious. The eel was immaculate the jalapeno paupers Were absolutely amazing. The staff was very friendly and kind the chef was able to tell me where they get the fish from I highly recommend this place, my fiancé and I will continue to go here.

I was kind of disappointed wi you noth this visit. $15 plus tip, waited 15 minutes for a simple chicken rice bowl that showed up to me lukewarm. I was going to ask the staff if they could pop my order back into the microwave, but it was served to me in a to-go container.
so I sat inside the lobby of the El Fidel
ate my lukewarm rice through my trash and left.
I have had that same order before and it was served to me at a decent temperature I don't know if they have new stuff but unfortunately this round really was not delicious as I had first thought.
Probably the best sushi place I've ever been to and I've been to quite a bit. The man who made them definitely put some love into it! Service was also great!

We ordered for my partners birthday and ended up waiting so long for take out. The boy who took the order apologized and said it was busy.. there were literally two tables in the restaurant.. The food was sooo bad and not authentic at all. You probably should not open a Japanese restaurant if you can’t cook Japanese food. I am positive my ramen had to be a pack of 70 cent packaged ramen microwaved. The noodles had a soggy texture, they forgot the egg I had paid to add on.. I couldn’t even eat it. When I called, I was hung up on, then I called again and I brought up that it literally tasted like a microwaved package and asked him how they make it, he was confused and couldn’t even tell me. My partner went to bring back my ramen just so they could know I truly wasn’t eating it. Don’t waste your time or money on this cheap but overpriced fake Japanese food. I only gave the atmosphere two stars because of the cool hotel it happens to operate out of.
