This was recommended by a local. Thought the food was good. The wife and I ordered a breakfast and split it, and we both had plenty. Due to an area fire contaminating the city water source the restaurant was using paperware to serve with to cut water use. Service was friendly.
Waitress was kind and efficient. The tortilla chips were Crisp and the salsa was one of the best I've had, and I've had a lot. I ordered biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed. This is the first time I've seen biscuits shaped like this so it was a nice surprise. They were very soft and the sausage was Savory. I highly recommend if you're passing by Las Vegas, NM. Our total for 2 was 30 bucks. Nice humble place. ?
Great friendly service. Menu variety, burgers and such, but had the chili relleno and tamale with green sauce, pisole and a sopapilla served with honey. Classic and delicious. Best I’ve had in a long time. Visiting from out of town. Will definitely go back while here.
