Overpriced and undersized. $25 for a hamburger with a bun that disintegrates immediately. I make a burger and fries 1000% better for 1/10 the price.

Service was excellent. They accommodated my lunch partner worth her allergies. I thought that was nice!! Her salad looked excellent but she said the beef tips were under cooked. My daughter had the wedge salad and she enjoyed it. I had the chicken fried steak. It was not good!! Bland a chewy. My daughter tried and didn't like it either. We got the mac and cheese to share and that was really good. For the prices they charge it could be better. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere is nice.

Wonderful dining experience without being pretentious. We just happened to be driving thru town on a Saturday evening and stopped for an early dinner. Our hostess and server were very welcoming and attentive. The restaurants wine and cocktail menu was extensive. We choseMisfits and Mavens Sauvignon for the evening. We chose two entrees and both servings were hearty. My husband always gets the steak and frites and he said by far Beef and Leaf out did what he has had on the Plaza and in Old Town in Abq. It was served with a mixed salad with a vinaigrette that complimented the plate. I was feeling adventurous and ordered the Pork Ossobucco with a red wine gravy, cheddar polenta and sautéed vegetables. This was an entree I have wanted to try and I am not sorry that this was my first. Fall off the bone fork tender and the gravy was amazing. The owner and chef was very visible and stopped by our table as we were leaving. Take a drive and try this cute spot out your taste buds will thank you!

The food is either really good or pretty average depending on the day. I had the eggs Benedict recently and it would have been great if the eggs weren’t fully hard boiled. As far as I know, this is the only place you can even get brunch in Los Alamos so we take what we can get.
They also don’t have high chairs and sat a table for 5 at a table for 4 with an extra chair. Not very comfortable.
My best friend took me out to dinner on a Saturday night. It was probably my first dinner out in 5 years and it was amazing. I had the lovely fish and chips. I was recovering from surgery so I ate half and saved the rest for later. It was perfect. Since my friend's beau was gracious enough to take me out to dinner, I paid with a verbal gift. It was an admiration dinner. Take time to admire what you get done each day. Once we started listing we were surprised how much we accomplished. Always admire your work. Let go of the next task. Laura stopped by to greet my hosts. It was a perfect night. Thank you Beef and Leaf. I'll be back. Homebound no more.

The first time my boyfriend and I came here, we were bot impressed. We went for opening weekend brunch, the food was mediocre and over priced, and the service was slow. After several months, we decided to give beef and leaf another try and we were pleasantly surprised.
We chose the pre-fixe menu and every single bite was absolutely exquisite. The wine was pleasant, each meal was excellently cooked and perfectly balanced, and the service was quick. Everything was reasonably priced as well, at $50 per person for an appetizer, entree, dessert, and wine. Our reservation was at 6:15pm and we were home by 7:10pm.
This is hands down the best restaurant in the Los Alamos/White Rock area.
The beef and leaf is officially our new date night spot!
